Contact shall be made using an e-mail address provided by an I.S.P. (Internet Service Provider) so that both parties can store the mail. Samurai International Inc. (hereinafter called "Company") does not reply to addresses from freemail services.
All products handled by the Company are made to order. Product prices, transportation charges and freight insurance costs for any order shall be paid by the importer (hereinafter called "Importer") in advance. All sales are final unless the product(s) is/are found to be faulty. The Importer shall not make remittance until the Company informs the Importer of the delivery schedule of the product(s) that the Importer has ordered. Any payment by the Importer is not refundable except in the case where the ordered product(s) is/are proven to be defective and the Company is held responsible for such defect.
All prices quoted by the Company shall be exclusive of transportation charges and freight insurance costs. Considering potential risks in different countries, the Company specifies the shipping method so that the product(s) is/are certain to be received by the Importer. All the exports from the Company have their tracking numbers (postal and air cargo systems) or airway bill numbers, and are under the control of the Company until the arrival of the products.
In principle, payment by the Importer shall be made in cash through a bank, not by Letter of Credit. Remittance must be made in Japanese yen. If commission is charged by the bank where the Importer sends remittance, other banks involved in the settlement or via the bank account specified by the Company, the commission shall be paid by either the Importer or the money sender. If payment is made via Money Order, Demand Draft or Cashers Check issued by the remittance bank, the Importer shall add a commission of 5,000 yen per sheet. (International Postal Money Order is commission free in Japan.) Please take note that settlement by Money Order, Demand Draft and Cashers Check may take more than one month if the bank has no branch in Japan. Because International Postal Money Order issued in some countries may not be accepted in Japan, please email the Company to check validity before sending. If the Importer sends Money Order, Demand Draft, Cashers Check or International Postal Money Order, it shall be sent by EMS (Express Mail Service) or recorded airmail. Depending on the country's system of public and private postal services, recorded airmail may not be sent overseas without being forwarded to the specified international post office, increasing the risk of it going astray. Therefore, please confirm the country's system before sending check by mail. The aforementioned are safe ways to send remittance from overseas. The Company does not accept Personal Check. (The Importer is urged not to send Cash. If money laundering is suspected, the Company will report it to the Japanese government, the Embassy and the Consulate of the Importer's country.)
Customs duties charged in the Importer's country shall be paid by the Importer.
Basically the Company's goods will be exported to any country in the world. However, in countries that have authorized sales agencies of the product(s) (in IKEDA's case: Switzerland, Hong Kong, USA, Taiwan (R.O.C.), Russia and Germany), inquiries related to the product(s) shall be referred to one of the agencies. The Company cannot answer any inquiry about the sole agency or agencies of the product(s).
Products have different warranty periods specified by the Company (e.g., 3 months in the case of cartridges, 6 months in the case of tonearms). Customers are not allowed to negotiate with the Company on the warranty period of each product.
All products handled by the Company are not maintenance-free. The Importer is urged to make a fully informed and considered decision before ordering. Products of the Company transmit a greater amount of data than the products of competitors in similar price ranges, and thus may expose the quality of music sources.

The Tokyo District Court shall have jurisdiction over legal problems between the Company and the Importer.
